Fashion on a budget

Do you ever feel like you aren't trendy enough because your $$ is a little short. You should never feel that way. If you are in college or between jobs one thing is for sure no matter how low your cash is people always like to look their best. I know I do. Since high school I have always shopped at thrift stores not only did it make my wardrobe bigger, but it made it unique. I didn't have to go to school to see someone with the same outfit because I didn't get it at H&M or Forever 21.

I will give you the number one rule to shopping at the thrift store. Be committed you won't always find what you are looking for but when you do it's like your little gem hidden in a pile of rocks. Another rule I have is, sometimes you look at an item and you think EWE but look a little harder and think hmm those awesome shoes I have will bring this top to life! One more rule, if you love it, don't put it down, there are scavengers in there, you will never see it again in real life  but you sure will dream about it.

To end this off I have a little example of an outfit bought at a thrift store and how it is certainly very trendy and worth every penny. The top was $4.99 and the pants were $2.99. That means you just snagged an $8.00 find that you wouldn't see on anyone else! Beat that Burlington!

I mean if your not a fan of thrift stores and you'd don't want to be caught dead in one. I guess you can get an outfit similar to this one, I tried to be fair and find it as cheap as possible so here is a top from Forever 21 that cost $17.80 and a pair of floral harem pants for $22.80! Oh and the total cost of this outfit would be $40.60. Just some food for thought.

I hope we helped you thinking about stretching your dollar a tad. Either way dress to kill and be a beautiful original!

Not in looks.
Not in what they say.
Just in what they are.”
